There aren't many places in the world that offer bus service for a quarter ($0.25) a ride. But Hollywood does.
It also has a gleaming subway system that can whisk travelers from downtown Los Angeles to Hollywood in about 12 minutes.
As a matter of fact, Los Angeles has the second largest public transportation agency in the nation and operates more than 1,500 buses.
Metro Red Line
The METRO Red Line subway system helps you get where you want to go quickly and inexpensively. It takes less than 15 minutes to get to Hollywood from downtown Los Angeles, and the system continues on to Universal Studios and the San Fernando Valley, too.
Other subway lines connect to other parts of the region. They also connect with the areas's extensive bus and rail services.
